For this weekend, we’ve put together a special selection of queer books, from non-fiction memoirs to heartwarming LGBTQ+ love stories and critically acclaimed teen books — books to educate, inspire, and create space for inclusion.🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
And as a little extra treat, we have handpicked stacks of Rainbow Books for just $5 each! 🌈📚 They add color and meaning to every shelf and you can enjoy reading them too!
Besides our center table, the other shelves are always filled with a wide inventory of gently-used fiction and non-fiction books of all genres and for all ages, along with magazines, CDs, DVDs, games and jigsaw puzzles 📚📖💿📀♟🎲🧩
Most items are priced at $1 or less, so you can find great deals and support a good cause at the same time.
Proceeds from Book Shop sales are granted back to the Troy Public Library in support of special programming and other important initiatives. The Friends of the Troy Public Library is an all-volunteer nonprofit made up of members who love books and the Library, and we are always happy to see YOU. 🫵
The Book Shop is located on the lower level of the Troy Public Library, and we are open on Saturday from 10AM-1PM and on Sunday from 1PM-4PM.
