March is for Reading and Membership!

March is an exciting time for the Friends of the Troy Public Library. Reading month is being celebrated at all our schools and we celebrate it too. Come to the bookshop or the Friends Shop through the month of March and get ½ off all kids and tweens books. Our book shop is open on Saturday from 10 am until 1 pm and Sunday from 1 pm until 4 pm. Our Friends Shop is open throughout the week when we have available volunteers to staff it.
March is also membership month! We are having our semi-annual membership drive. Join the Friends between March 8 and March 23 and receive a free tote bag. Your membership dues goes back to the library to support their many programs and projects. The Friends have used membership dues and income from our stores to help fund the Bookmobile, summer reading programs, the Charley Cart, educational programs and more.
Just for being a member, you will are invited to an exclusive members only ½ off sale in our Bookshop. The sale will be held on April 16. Watch your e-mail for more information on the sale.
