Dear Friends of the Troy Public Library, Amazing Volunteers, and Valued Patrons.
We hope you had a Happy Easter and are enjoying the early Spring weather. 🌸🌼
As you know, our Lower-Level Book Shop has faced some significant challenges due to persistent leaks in the HVAC system. But fear not! Repairs have been underway for a couple of weeks, and workers have been making great progress to ensure that things are back in tip-top shape.
We expect these repairs will be completed by the end of April.
Now, here’s the plan 👉🏻 👉🏻👉🏻 It will take about two weeks following the repairs to return the inventory from its current temporary off-site location and get things ready for you. So, at this moment, we’re targeting a mid-May reopening. 🤞🏻
In the meantime, we have some exciting news! The Upper-Level Book Shop, located just across from the Circulation Desk in the Troy Public Library, has been open nearly every day for at least a couple of hours. It’s well-stocked with all your favorite gently-used fiction and non-fiction books of all genres, CDs, DVDs, games, jigsaw puzzles and even a few surprises. Check out the accompanying photos 📷
Important Note → While we’re thrilled to see you, we are still not accepting donations. However, we kindly ask donors to collect and hang on to their treasures. We’ll need those generous contributions to restock before reopening. We’ll tell you “When”
