Special Program - An Evening with Outlander

Outlander is a television drama based on author Diana Gabaldon’s historical time travel book series of the same name.  The show premiered on August 9, 2014, and stars Caitriona Balfe as Claire Randall, a married World War II nurse who in 1945 finds herself transported back to the Scotland of 1743, where she encounters the dashing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) and becomes embroiled in the Jacobite risings.

Evening with Outlander will include:

  • Dinner of Shepherd’s Pie or Vegetarian Stir Fry with Rice, salad, rolls, coffee, tea, and shortbread
  • Cash Bar
  • Presentation on living in Scotland during the years 1743 – 1746
  • Outlander Trivia Game
  • Ticket Bag Auction
  • Presentations of Scottish Dancing and Bagpipe Playing

In addition, you will have an opportunity to have your picture taken with a life-size cut out of Jamie Fraser.
